Terms of Service

Updated: January 15, 2026

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of and participation in any MeeOpp programme, pack, course, or related services offered via the platform or websites, collectively called the "Programme," operated by MeeOpp. By registering, purchasing, accessing, or booking any session, including trial sessions, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1.0 Overview of the Programme

The Programme is an online English learning platform. Depending on the pack purchased, it may vary in duration, structure, and components.

Components may include:

  • Scheduled one-to-one online sessions with native English-speaking tutors
  • Online learning activities completed asynchronously
  • AI-based tools analyzing student performance and generating reports on language strengths and weaknesses

The Programme serves students learning English as an additional language across different levels, age groups, school systems, and learning objectives.

2.1 Trial Sessions

Some programmes include free or discounted trial sessions as specified on the programme page.

2.2 Booking and Scheduling

2.3 Payment Authorisation

A pre-authorisation hold of up to HK$250 may be placed on your credit or debit card for session bookings.

2.4 How Pre-Authorisation Holds Are Processed

  • If the student attends and purchases the programme, the hold may be credited toward fees
  • If the student attends but doesn't purchase, the hold refunds within approximately 10 working days
  • If the student fails to attend without canceling within required notice (typically 24 hours), the hold may be charged as a no-show fee
  • If the student cancels within required notice, no fee is charged and the hold releases or refunds
